I listen to a lot of music and try my best to listen to all kinds of different stuff just cause I'm curious. Being apart of a radio station deos help a lot thought on expanding my taste and getting to get into more local vibes.

febble little horse
Never have I been more excited for a bands future projects. I had been listening to them a while with not diving to deep til recently with their single This is Real of which is just.... It is a 3:07 track and it feels like it should be double that with just how much it is trying to do AND GETS AWAY WITH!!! Don't know what kind of magic it took to make but damn. That single lead to a look back into them of which on a surface level with their popular sounds they have a very lo-fi shoegazey grunge vibe to them with this whole electric cracks and pops deal with their amps that is just the sprinkles on top. But a deeper dive has lead me to just how expirenmental and intresting this band. One of my favorites 'Chores' is has yet again this muted feel to it like the brightness is been shifted through the song with it blaring the power of the sun in the chorus/bridge. The music video for it is also amazing with it all seeming to be hand drawn crayon animation. It seem like feeble little horse has some kind of core that they carry to each song which for me is this kind of warmth you can feel mostly with how instruments come in and out whether thats sudden or crepping and how it goes with this story they are trying to tell. The production of everything is great but still has a sound that does not make it sound like it is sterile, with it not being afraid to get crunchy and mucky at points. With only two albums as of writing this it is a great time to get in on the ground floor of feeble little horse.

PUP
May possible be one of the best punky bands while being Canadians. I did fall out off from listening to their most recent stuff, it does seem a bit more pop in what I have heard but still got that edge. Morbid Stuff is my favorite modern punk album with there not being a single skip (maybe City when I'm too sad for it). Sibling Rivalry is the best track because I think captures the crazy insane hate that siblings can have for each other but also the painfully stupid memories and fun. Then it go to Full Blown Meltdown is a full out thrasher face melter. See You At Your Funeral has a line that will forever stick in my head being "I hope somehow, I never see you again And if I do, it's at your funeral, or better yet I hope the world explodes I hope that we all die We can watch the highlights in hell I hope they're televised" Also the fact that in an older album there is a whole song about the leader singers old car od which he named Mabu. The music video to it is them making the car into a debry car, with it being its last hurrah. I love it!
